Hairsyrup takes on Cardiff Half 🏃‍♂️🐝🏅

On Sunday, October 6th, seven of the team from the Hairsyrup HQ took on the Cardiff Half Marathon. It was an unforgettable day.

The office is buzzing with achievement so I wanted  to share how proud I am of them all! 

As the newbie of the team, I was too late to sign up for the half marathon but wanted to show my support and cheer them on and they SMASHED it!

Katè absolutely flew ahead, finishing in an impressive 2:09. Watching her zoom by was incredible.

Lucy, who had just completed her first 10k a couple of weekends ago (unknowingly might I add). She really gave it her all. It was so heartwarming to see Phoebe running alongside her, hand in hand, pushing her to keep going. They were an amazing duo finishing at 02.27.

Kev pushed through and finished at an incredible 02.32. He had an emotional finnish helping a fellow runner get over the finnish line with him.

Then there was George—he sped past me so fast that I didn’t see him! It was clear he was on a mission and nothing was going to slow him down. George finished at an incredible  03.08.

Our fearless CEO, Lucie, who didn’t train at all (and felt it), powered through in her trusty Fila stompers. Her determination was truly inspiring and made me have major FOMO.

Unfortunately, Adam had to stop halfway due to a knee injury, but he still made it further than many could. We were cheering him on, and he did an amazing job getting as far as he did.

I’m so unbelievably proud of everyone for stepping out of their comfort zones and pushing through. Here’s to more adventures! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
