In the Herculean saga of the retailer who stole their stockist Social Media Manager - in the famous words of Linda from The Traitors,who the hell is not going to come back?!” In the same vein, what is coming to the Hair Syrup shelves? 

 

In the background from London to Leeds, the team was pre-heating some controversial content for the 1st of April. A suggestive job posting, a Leeds-based opportunity and a heartbreaking public announcement to TikTok of our Social Media Manager Lucy’s unexpected departure. This provoked a catalyst of onlooker conspiracy theories and speculation, amassing over 3 million views in less than 24 hours with everyone wondering the same thing - what is truly going on? Even our soon to be COO joining the Welsh office was fooled. Might I add, he’s a former professional poker player.

 

In an unforeseen bombshell development to the disbelief of our audience, Lucy was identified by eagle-eyed internet sleuths cladding a high-vis for a Daedalian new employee reveal… with the Just My Look social media team - one of Hair Syrup’s long term retailers. The Just My Look content only added to the labyrinthian friction. Minus one small detail… the fact the stunt was an undecipherable 4-day April’s Fools ploy. Can we add actresses to our CV’s now?

 

We can’t get enough of April Fools here at the Hair Syrup office. Lucie hosted a momentous Masterclass in Dividends at The 2025 UK Shareholder Summit. The location fell nothing short of ironic at Reject’s House, Dragon’s Hill - if you’re not already sick of the Dragon’s Den references. If you haven’t noticed already, this glaringly never happened.
